The voices behind the music
Dave Goldy
Bryan Foss
Dianne Vallier
Bryan Foss is no stranger to performing as he has been a trumpet player since the early age of 7. For the last two decades, he played the trumpet in many Seattle area blues, funk, and R&B bands, influenced by Tower of Power, Chicago, and CCR.
In his new musical chapter, he has enjoyed playing and performing with the ukulele (where he first met Dianne). His ukulele journey led to his latest musical adventure with Goldy and Dianne. Bryan is now writing music, with songs like "Whiskey or You", "Southbound 95", "Get Off the Couch" and "My Honey Bee" which are getting airtime with Goldy, Foss & Vallier.
Dave “Goldy” Goldberg is an eclectic songwriter who blends sounds from around the world in the music he creates. His easy going attitude and sense of humor comes across in his music with songs like "Hawaii, I Just Can't Wait", “More than Facebook Friends” and “Don’t Burn the Milk”.
Dave has built of network of songwriters in Seattle with his “Songwriter Showcase” series. He is a seasoned live performer and has honed his songs through regular gigs across the states. In 2022 Dave’s song "Je T’aime" was featured in the film “The Sound of Violet”.
A charming, colorful chanteuse, Dianne Vallier brings a captivating blend of sultry vintage jazz, playful indie pop, and dashes of folk rock to the stage. The Nashville-born singer’s extensive choral background shines through in her pitch-perfect harmonies, and her lighthearted personality fits seamlessly into the Goldy & Foss stage dynamic.
When Dianne isn’t performing with the group, you can find her at local open mics, strumming her teal ukulele and putting a fresh spin on everything from the Great American Songbook to powerful protest anthems.
